The Pittsburgh Builders Exchange elected James J. Zukowski at the December Board of Directors meeting to serve as President for 2010. Jim is President of Jim Zukowski Associates, a manufacturers' representative located in Bethel Park which he established in 1995.

Jim earned a dual degree in design and engineering from Penn State University. He has over forty years experience in the construction industry working for Mulach Steel Corporation as an iron estimator; and then as a manufacturers' representative of several skylight, louver, and panel manufacturers before establishing his own company.

Jim has been a PBX Board of Director since 1998 serving on various committees including Insurance, Education, Legislative, Audit & Finance, and Executive. In addition to his involvement with the Pittsburgh Builders Exchange, Jim also serves on the Construction Legislative Council where he was Chairman in 2007-2008.

Jim and his wife, Kathy reside in the South Hills of Pittsburgh and have three children and nine grandchildren.
